Kaitlin Krueger

From a very young age, I have always known I wanted to be an artist. These days I like to consider myself a non-traditional multidisciplinary artist. I am currently working in wool felting, oil painting and digital illustrations. While most of my training has been in drawing and ceramics, I discovered a love for fiber arts while pursuing my BFA in Studio Arts. I became fascinated by the deep historical connection between women and fiber arts. It is something I continue to be inspired by. Working across multiple different mediums allows me to see ideas from different perspectives and keeps my creative process free and flowing. My work is inspired by a strong connection to the natural world, femininity and my love for all things whimsical. While the medium may change, my affinity for soft visual elements and bold colors is always present. Embracing my imagination is how I stay connected to my art and keep the process fun. Through my work, I want to invite viewers into my world and set their imaginations free.
