Retirement from teaching Exceptional Educational Needs (EEN) students in high school has given me time to work in my studio on the beach of Lake Michigan. Rita’s Originals is a business I started to create commissioned oil paintings and custom stained glass windows. Drawing, stained glass, and painting are still my first love, and my greatest happiness is when viewers are pulled into the canvas with intense emotion that makes them feel good.
